Apple iPod


APPLE iPOD On October 23, 2001, Apple introduced iPod(digital music player). Apple introduced various models targeting the wants of different users. iPod are the market leader in portable music player. Apple has partnered with Nike which produce sports related products to offer the Nike iPod Sports Kit enabling runners to synchronize and monitor their runs with iTunes. Apple currently sells four Types of the iPod.
  • iPod Classic First iPOD(portable music player) introduced by APPLE in 2001.
  • iPod Nano after success of iPod(1st portable media player) new model or Next Generation of iPOD was introduced to market which was Named as iPOD Nano. iPod Nano was introduced in 2005, which is currently available in 8 and 16 GB models. iPOD Nano has a FM radio, pedometer(is a step counter device), and a new multi-touch interface which replaced the iPod click wheel.
  • iPod Shuffle iPod Shuffle is a digital audio player which was introduced in 2005, currently available in 2 and 4 GB models.
  • iPod Touch First portable media player that runs iOS, which was introduced in September 2007 after the Launch of iPhone. Currently available in 8, 32, and 64 GB models. The latest generation features the Apple A4 processor, and dual cameras on the front and back,iBooks, FaceTime, and multitasking, Wifi. The back camera allows video recording at720p, and the Front camera is used for video calling. Many software's were supported by iPOD TOUCH which can be downloaded from apple app store.
